Terry Spivey was the kind of person who was always your biggest fan, no matter what. He was generous with, not only this advice and encouragement, but his resources. Having personally been on the receiving end of all of that, I can say I’ve never met anyone else like him. He believed that everyone had something inside of them that God had uniquely gifted them for. It’s that belief that made him so special. While others may believe the same…he actually lived it. That “slight” difference is what led to the creation of the Dream Giver Foundation. This is the legacy of a man who never shied away from helping others reach for the stars and grasp hold of their God-given dreams.

The Dream Giver Foundation has truly been an answer to prayer! When God gave us the dream to start a non-profit to lead women around the world through reading the Bible in a year and doing life together we didn’t know how to make that a reality. Thanks to the Dream Giver Foundation we were blessed with the seed money to create the non-profit, Sisters in Christ International and launch our website to reach the world. This has sparked a ripple effect transforming lives across the globe. We are so grateful for the Dream Giver Foundation helping us to do spread God’s love to the ends of the earth. Terry Spivey’s legacy lives on through our ministry.

Tim's words
As a Pastor and Worship Leader, it can be lonely moving through each day. The reason for that lies in the fact that we’re asked to carry a weight that can feel unbearable at times. That weight makes it easy to forget that you’re actually surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. Thanks to the generosity of the Dream Giver Foundation, I was able to attend a gathering of like-minded people from all 50 states and at least 2 other countries, called Worship Circle. During those few days, I was able to connect with people whose stories left me encouraged, humbled, and reminded of how Great a God we serve and worship. Without the REST retreat, I would be still be feeling like my family was all alone in this journey. Now, when I wake up and look at each day, I’m reminded that there are more of “us” in this world than I can even imagine.
